You did what?? Part 2

Yes, I'm still hitting the gym. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I've completed 2 weeks now. I'm still enjoying it. I feel energized after leaving the gym and I seem to think a little more clearly while working.

Also noteworthy.... I don't look like that yet. Hmm...

You did what??

Okay, I have done something that most of you may find shocking. I joined the YMCA at work. I also WENT to the gym and WORKED OUT. Hmmm... I'll give you a moment to imagine that.

I have considered the gym for many years, but never been. I joined with a friend, so I think that helps to motivate me. I guess it won't be long before I look like this:

Maybe I won't. Maybe I wouldn't want to... haha... In case it means anything later, I started today at 167 lbs.

the tide...

This is a song by Newsboys called The Tide. I came across the words to this song on my computer. I had found the core of the song on the internet and then added in the actual lyrics based on the track. I had done this when I was feeling as though I had run aground. I found great comfort in this song. I would set the track to repeat and listen to it over and over.

think i'll wait for the tide
seems it's all i can do right now
there must be a reason
i've run aground

i'll wait for the waves
to come
by the moon and the tide
like a man and his bride
i will wait
on you, Lord
and we will run so far from here
to your.........safety

think i'll lie in the sun for awhile
maybe inside out
i've been leaving messages for you
i'm sure it will all work out

and i know the waves
will come
by the moon and the tide
like a man and his bride
i will wait
on you Lord
and we will run so far from here
to your.........safety in the storm

there is courage for the simple man
to the holders of secrets and scars
learning to stand with reaching arms
we'll wait until the very last
no matter what will be
you're always good
always good
to me

we will run so far from here
i know the waves
will come
by the moon and the tide
like a man and his bride
i will wait
on you Lord

we will run so far from here
i know the waves
will come
by the moon and the tide
like a man and his bride
i will wait
on you Lord

we will run so far from here
to your.........safety
to your.........safety
to your.........safety
to your.........
to your safety

Profile Update...

I just noticed that the family portrait on the top, right of my blog is "out of date". It is missing one member--Amy Jo. I will have to find something to replace that picture with. We haven't gone to get any professional pictures done yet.

Travel humor...

In my last job, I did a bit of travel. If you have done any traveling by air, you can probably appreciate the humor in this video. Enjoy!
