Pita Love..

I love pita bread. Not really just any pita bread, though. I have a special love for fresh, soft pita. Pita bread doesn't seem to stay this way for too long. You have to get it fresh and it will turn into normal pita within 2 days.

Growing up, I didn't get fresh pita that often. Every once in a while, we would make it to Lakeshore Produce early enough to get some! I say early enough, because you had to be there when they opened if you hoped to get some. It seemed to be in great demand.

Well, I've had a renewed love for pita recently. I found that I could get it fresh from Hala Cafe, located on University Blvd. I find myself going once or twice a week to pick up fresh pita bread. Mmmm...
